Mary and Zach got married this past weekend at First Presbyterian Church in downtown Columbia. This was actually my second time shooting at this church and each time I shoot there I feel like the church grows! I know that sounds weird but I guess I just didn’t realize was how big was. It is literally an entire city block plus a little extra. It is huge! The fact that I have shot there before really gave me a leg up on finding locations as well as finding my way around! When I first arrived I began shooting Mary and Zach’s details. The details are items like an invitation suite, a Bride’s jewelry, a Groom’s cuff links…I always give a list of detail shot items to my couples but usually the details are anything that the bride and groom find special to them and/or pertain to their wedding day. I always start my wedding days off with shooting details and I like to think of it as my warm up time! Once I finished the details it was time to get Mary into her dress. Mary and Zach decided to do a first look and it was just as wonderful as I expected! After the first look it was ceremony time! Mary and Zach had a beautiful service where they said “I DO!” After the ceremony Mary and Zach made their way to the reception at City Art where they danced the night away surrounded by family and friends. This day was so wonderful and I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter couple to work with! I am so honored to share these images with you all and I hope that you enjoy viewing some of my favorites from Mary and Zach’s downtown Columbia wedding! Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Hughey!!
